Harvard endeavors to attract the greatest minds from all over the world – for study, for scholarship, for teaching, and for sharing new ideas and perspectives. As such, the University and its foreign students, scholars and guests diligently work to comply with U.S. immigration law and policies. Federal Relations staff monitors proposed changes to immigration law and regulations and represents the University’s interests before Congress and the Executive branch to ensure that the continued open exchange of ideas is properly balanced with security.
